Colin Kenney
Founder, Cothrom Capital
Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, Colin is the son of two small business owners and
the youngest of four siblings. From his first job working for his mom’s home health
nursing practice, he’s been involved in healthcare ever since. He attended Vanderbilt
University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Human & Organizational Development and
Pre-Medical Studies, with a Minor in Financial Economics.
Choosing finance over med school, Colin first worked in investment banking at
Petsky Prunier and in the Healthcare Group of Bank of America. Most recently, he
served as an Associate in healthcare private equity at Linden Capital Partners, one of
the country’s largest healthcare-focused investment funds. In this role, Colin worked alongside exceptional founders and operators within healthcare across the spectrum of care. Most recently, he completed his MBA in Healthcare Management at Wharton.
After years of advising and investing in healthcare companies—from large health systems to niche businesses along the value chain—Colin launched Cothrom to acquire one business, shoulder to shoulder with its team. He’s now excited to roll up his sleeves and help lead a business like yours—creating long-term value for your team, your customers, and your community.

Through a 30-minute video chat, we’ll get to know you, hear your story, and understand your goals for your business.

Colin will meet you on your home turf—whether that’s your office, warehouse, or clinic.

Following the first few meetings, we'll mutually sign a letter of intent (LOI) to define the terms of our partnership and deal structure.

After signing the LOI, we'll begin a diligence period to more closely understand the ins-and-outs of your business (e.g., strategy, financials, operations, legal, etc.).
